Meet Gina Calabrese, M.A., CCC-SLP, CT

 Gina Calabrese is a pediatric speech-language pathologist and the founder of Chickadee Speech Therapy. She is passionate about helping children communicate with confidence while honoring each child’s unique strengths, interests, and way of experiencing the world.

With years of experience supporting infants, toddlers, children, and their families, Gina believes that meaningful progress happens through connection, trust, and play. Her therapy sessions are child-led, relationship-based, and tailored to each child’s individual needs. She prioritizes emotional safety, sensory regulation, and joyful interactions while helping children build communication skills that support participation in everyday life.

In addition to working directly with children, Gina enjoys empowering caregivers through education, consultation, and advocacy. She is committed to helping families better understand their children, navigate support systems, and create environments where children can thrive as their authentic selves.

When she’s not providing therapy, Gina enjoys creating art, spending time in nature, and finding creative ways to bring play, curiosity, and connection into everyday life.

 In addition to providing private speech therapy services through Chickadee Speech Therapy, Gina collaborates with local organizations to support children and families throughout the Bay Area. She conducts social skills groups, speech and language evaluations, and Independent Educational Evaluations (IEE) for Brain Waves in Pacifica, and she provides preschool consultation services for Sequential Development Consulting throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
